Le chanteur a appris la guitare en jouant pour le groupe Sugluk, avec Aatami Papigatuk et Tajara Papigatuk, \u201cIls ne m\u2019ont pas vraiment pouss\u00e9, ils avaient juste besoin de quelqu\u2019un pour accompagner\u201d mais il a beauocup appris de cette exprience. Il est aussi all\u00e9 au C\u00e9gep Mary-Victorin pour quatre semestres, dans le programme de musique. Il a eu des tuteurs dont Marc Sauv\u00e9 qui l\u2019a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 la guitare et au clavier; il a aussi appris de la musique classique, comme La Sonate au Claire de lune, Marche Turque, etc. \u201cSi je n\u2019y \u00e9tais pas all\u00e9, je ne pense pas que \u00e7a aurait beaucoup chang\u00e9, car gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ma passion, les vrais enseignants pour moi ce sont les musiciens Inuit\u201d.
Sa s\u0153ur Elisapie est aussi dans le monde de la musique et ils se sont toujours encourag\u00e9s. M\u00eame si elle est devenue populaire jeune, elle a toujours pouss\u00e9 son fr\u00e8re \u00e0 continuer la musique, et 25 ans plus tard son album \u00e9merge. Il est tr\u00e8s fier et heureux de celui-ci, il le d\u00e9dicace \u00e0 sa famille et ses amis. The singer learned guitar by playing for the Sugluk band, for Aatami Papigatuk and Tajara Papigatuk, \u201cThey didn\u2019t really push me, they just needed somebody to play with them\u201d but that was a good learning experience. He is also the brother of renown signer Elisapie, and they always encouraged each other. Even though she was successful younger, she always pushed her brother to continue music, and 25 years later his album emerged. He is very proud and happy about it, dedicating it to his family and friends. From his first time being on stage in Salluit, in 1995, singing some Elvis, Nothing but a hum dog, he feels this is an accomplishment.
How the musician proceeds to make a song is by humming, and playing with words, then makes the music out of it.
